What is the best thing that happened to you at work this month?

I can’t name just one thing, but I will share what the best part of my job is this month and every other month. The patients who come into my lab and who are suffering from their symptoms and they are at a loss as to what to do. The look I see on their face as well as their parents when I tell them there is a treatment that can potentially make those symptoms subside or even the possibility of eliminating them all together is what gets me every time. It makes every day a joy to get up and come to work. I am here for the patient and that makes it the best thing I could ever ask for.

What is the number 1 reason you joined BioTek?
I wanted to be apart of something new and exciting. I wanted to find a place to start a career where I can continue to learn and grow with the company. I felt like BioTek was where I belonged, My work family!

What piece of advice would you give to other BioTek Allergy techs/locations?
I would say my best advice to others would be to stay organized and know the product. I didn’t know much about allergy testing when I first started with BioTek. The more I know and understand, the more I can relay to our patients.

What is the best gift you’ve ever received?
The best gifts I have ever been given are my children. They have shaped me! They make life worth living for. Those smiles are so contagious.
